At first glance, it’s just a T-shirt or a button. But behind every piece in the LEBBE collection lies a mission rooted in purpose: to fight food insecurity in New York and Burkina Faso through fashion.

Born in Queens, NY, and inspired by the bravery and resilience of West Africa, LEBBE is more than a brand—it’s a bridge.

The Birth of LEBBE

LEBBE (short for Le Burkinabè) was founded to connect two worlds: the bold creativity of New York’s streetwear scene and the revolutionary spirit of Burkina Faso. Our founder grew up watching her grandmother feed people beyond her own family—a powerful act of love and community.

This memory became the heartbeat of LEBBE: fashion that feeds.

Fashion as a Tool for Food Security

We give 2% of every purchase to support farming projects, seed preservation, and food programs in Burkina Faso. From street fairs in New York to farms in Bobo-Dioulasso, your support helps:

  • Fund micro-farms and irrigation
  • Provide sustainable seed training
  • Feed underserved communities through our partner, Lana Food 11
  • Amplify the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts on the ground

Why Burkina Faso?

Burkina Faso is a country of rich culture and fierce independence—but like many African nations, it faces challenges tied to global food systems and climate change.

Supporting its agriculture is not charity—it’s solidarity. It's empowerment through self-reliance.

From Fabric to Farming

Every stitch, every button, every campaign—LEBBE is designed to remind you that fashion can do more. When you wear LEBBE, you're wearing a statement of hope, pride, and nourishment.
