My name is Michelle, and I created LEBBE to honor where I come from and protect where we’re going.One of my earliest memories is watching my grandmother feed others—not just our family, but anyone in need. Her kitchen was more than a place to cook. It was a place of dignity, healing, and quiet resistance. That spirit lives in everything I do. Growing up, I saw the strength of the people in Burkina Faso—and the challenges they face. LEBBE, short for “The Burkinabè”, is a tribute to them. It’s a minimalist streetwear brand rooted in food security, sustainability, and cultural pride. This brand is my protest, my prayer, and my promise—to give back like my grandmother did, and to empower future generations.
